I just ended up here…
Growing up as a child I used to always say I was going to become a teacher. Look where I am now. Not far off from it though, I find myself teaching a lot of life lessons within my field.
But before I got here, I once thought I could become an accountant. Boy was I wrong, turns out that number crunching really isn’t my thing. I found my road though. And it all happened because I needed to take an elective class, and I picked what seemed easy.
My laziness ended up changing my career path and outlook. I had no idea what I really wanted to do and I was just taking classes because the guidance counselor said I had to. Poor decisions are part life lessons and I don’t regret those that I made.
Fast forward to a few years later, I am loving what I do. As crazy and hectic a day in the life of HR can be, it’s fulfilling at the same time. There’s never a dull moment and the thinking cap is always on.
The purpose of my blog is to share experiences, knowledge, and provide guidance to anyone willing to listen. My posts will offer the HR perspective on work related issues that affect both the employer and employee. There will be random nothings and some funnies at times, but I do hope that my posts will be helpful.
